Spring 2024 Chicago Trip

WIRE went on an overnight trip to Chicago! We started the day off at the Harris Point Chicago office, where we got an overview of their asset class and the leasing process. That night we networked with WREAA at Punchbowl Social. We had a jam-packed Friday: a presentation and tour from Sterling Bay, a Fulton Market walking tour from an industry leader, and a presentation from Stream Realty Partners. Lastly, we went on the Chicago River Architecture Tour and learned the history behind the city's most famous developments. Special thank you to Emma Wells and Julia Schulze for all your hard work planning this awesome trip!

Fall 2023 Chicago Trip

WIRE went on a day trip to Chicago! We started the day off with a tour of the Salt Shed with Mike Lombardo and Jonathan Brown. Then, we went to Core Spaces where Kristin Bonifas and team shared a presentation. Last, we visited Harrison Street to listen to a presentation from Joseph Curtin and team. Thank you to our members Julia Schulze and Anna Zimmerman for putting this entire trip together!

Spring 2023 Chicago Trip

WIRE met with PGIM, Revantage, and JLL. Additionally, our members had the chance to engage with the WREAA at AceBounce, where we got to meet UW alumni who work in Chicago. Big thanks to all the companies for welcoming us and giving WIRE this opportunity!

spring 2022 chicago trip

WIRE met with JLL, First Industrial Realty Trust, and Heitman. We learned so much about the opportunities and experiences offered at each company. We got to see a few familiar faces and were welcomed with so much excitement at each stop on our trip. Thank you to all of the companies for their generosity!

Fall 2020 Milwaukee trip

We met with Northwestern Mutual, Irgens, Colliers, First Pathways, and Walker & Dunlop. We enjoyed learning from each company and the different career paths within the real estate industry. Thank you to all the companies who met with us. It was truly an amazing experience!

Spring 2019 Chicago Trip

We met with women leaders from Barings, MetLife, Ernst & Young, Prudential, and Norcon. It was a great opportunity to discus careers in the field, learn more about the market in Chicago, and discus women in the industry. We are already looking forward to next year.
